Tahini Sauce

Perfect for vegetarian and other dishes. 10 minutes start to finish.

Ingredients

  • 1-2 garlic cloves
  • ½ tsp salt
  • ¾ cup tahini paste
  • ½ cup freshly squeezed lime or lemon juice
  • ¼ cup cold water, more if needed
  • 1 cup fresh chopped parsley leaves, stems removed first

Directions

  1. Finely mince the garlic and season with salt.
  2. Add the garlic, tahini paste and lime juice to the bowl of a food processor and blend until it thickens. Add a little bit of water and blend again until you reach the desired consistency.
  3. Transfer the tahini sauce to a serving bowl, and, if you like, stir in fresh chopped parsley.
