Steelcut Oatmeal in the Instant Pot

Be sure to use regular oats, not quick-cooking.

Prep: 1 minute; start to finish 15 minutes

Ingredients

  • 1 cup steel cut oats
  • 3 cups water

Directions

  1. Put the oats and water in the Instant Pot.
  2. Close the lid and vent.
  3. Set for 3 minutes.
  4. When oats are finished cooking, turn off and let pressure release naturally.
  5. Open the lid and stir. Any extra liquid will be absorbed as the oatmeal cools.
  6. Serve with your favorite toppings.
