Grilled Swordfish

A super-easy grilled swordfish recipe with a quick marinade that keeps the fish really most.

Start to finish: 30 minutes. Serves 4

Ingredients

  • 6 to 12 garlic cloves, finely chopped
  • ⅓ cup extra virgin olive oil
  • 2 T lemon juice
  • 1 tsp coriander
  • ¾ tsp cumin
  • ½ tsp paprika
  • ¾ tsp salt
  • ½ tsp freshly ground black pepper
  • 4 swordfish steaks, about 5 to 6 ounces each
  • Lemon juice
  • Crushed red pepper, optional

Directions

  1. Put the steaks in a glass dish or pie plate.
  2. Mix together the garlic, olive oil, lemon juice, spices, salt, and pepper, then spread over the steaks.
  3. Preheat a gas grill to high. When heated, grill the steaks on high heat for 5-6 minutes on the first side. Turn over and grill for 3-4 minutes.
  4. Squeeze some lemon juice and a sprinkle of crushed red pepper (optional) before serving.
