A super-easy grilled swordfish recipe with a quick marinade that keeps the fish really most.
Start to finish: 30 minutes. Serves 4
Ingredients
- 6 to 12 garlic cloves, finely chopped
- ⅓ cup extra virgin olive oil
- 2 T lemon juice
- 1 tsp coriander
- ¾ tsp cumin
- ½ tsp paprika
- ¾ tsp salt
- ½ tsp freshly ground black pepper
- 4 swordfish steaks, about 5 to 6 ounces each
- Lemon juice
- Crushed red pepper, optional
Directions
- Put the steaks in a glass dish or pie plate.
- Mix together the garlic, olive oil, lemon juice, spices, salt, and pepper, then spread over the steaks.
- Preheat a gas grill to high. When heated, grill the steaks on high heat for 5-6 minutes on the first side. Turn over and grill for 3-4 minutes.
- Squeeze some lemon juice and a sprinkle of crushed red pepper (optional) before serving.
