Adding beets to the list of vegetables that are great on the grill.
Start to finish: 45 minutes
Ingredients
- 6 beets, scrubbed and tops cut off
- 2 T butter
- Salt and pepper to taste
Directions
- Preheat your grill to high.
Coat one side of a large piece of aluminum foil with cooking spray. - Place beets and butter on foil; season with salt and pepper.
- Wrap foil over beets to make a closed packet.
- Place packet directly on the grill.
- Cook 30 minutes, or until beets are tender.
- Allow to cool about 5 minutes before serving.
Note: Peeling the skin (post-grilling) is optional.
