Almost as easy as buying a jar of pre-made salad dressing from the store. In fact, take an empty jar of pre-made dressing, wash it out well, and use it to make this vinaigrette.
Prep/Start-to-finish: 5 minutes
Ingredients
- 3 Tablespoons rice wine vinegar
- 1 teaspoon Dijon mustard (dry)
- 3/4 t salt
- 1/4 t freshly ground pepper
- Pinch of sugar
- 9 T olive oil
Directions
- Combine vinegar, mustard, salt, pepper, and sugar in your recycled jar.
- Shake to combine.
- Add oil and shake again until all ingredients are well combined.
- Use immediately, refrigerate any leftovers, but use within a day or two.
Vary the combination – try different vinegars (or lemon juice) and oils.
