You can make them regular sized or mini, make them with milk or semi-sweet chips. Just make them!
Ingredients
- 2 1/2 cups flour
- 1 T baking powder
- 1 tsp baking soda
- 1/2 tsp salt
- 1/2 cup butter, melted and cooled
- 1 cup sugar
- 2 eggs
- 1 cup milk (whole or buttermilk)
- 1 1/2 cups chocolate chips
Directions
- Preheat oven to 425 degrees; spray a 12- or 24-cup muffin tray or use paper liners.
- In a bowl, mix together flour, baking powder, baking soda, salt and chips.
- In a separate bowl, whisk together the melted butter, sugar, eggs, and milk.
- Slowly add to the dry ingredients, gently folding until just combined.
- Divide the batter into the muffin cups and bake for 5 minutes. Reduce the oven temp to 375 degrees and bake for another 12-15 minutes (12-cup pan) or 8-10 minutes (24-cup pan) or until a toothpick inserted into the center comes out clean. Don’t overbake.
- Let cool in pan 5-10 minutes, then enjoy.
